Use this page for anything related to the calculators: a wrong number, a material to add, or something broken. I read every message myself; I can’t promise a reply time, since this is a one-person site alongside other work.
A number that looks wrong
Material densities, project depths and prices all come from real sources, but they can be out of date, or off for your particular supplier. If something looks wrong, please include the page it’s on. Every calculator has a Copy button that puts your exact inputs into the page’s web address, so if you send me that link, I see the same numbers you’re seeing instead of guessing at what you typed.
A material or project to add
The launch tools cover gravel, rock and soil for the most common yard projects: driveways, paths, patios, beds and new lawns. If you regularly order a material that isn’t on this site, or a project type that needs its own depth guidance, tell me what it is and how it’s typically measured or sold.
A page that’s broken
A page that won’t load, a link that goes nowhere, or a calculator that gives a result that clearly can’t be right (not just a number you’d expect to be different) is worth reporting too.
What I can’t help with
This site doesn’t sell material and doesn’t take orders, so I can’t quote a job, recommend a specific supplier near you, or tell you which material to pick for a project. For that, your local landscape supply yard or a contractor is a better source than a message here.
How to reach me
Email is the only way to reach me about this site; there’s no contact form to fill in and no phone line. Include as much detail as you can (the page, your inputs and what you expected to see), since that’s usually enough to sort out a factual question without a back-and-forth.
