Every calculator on this site is free, with no sign-up and no limit on how many times you use it. There’s no paid tier and nothing hidden behind a wall today.

Estimates, not professional advice

The numbers this site gives you are estimates, not a quote from a supplier and not professional or engineering advice. They can only be as accurate as the measurements and material choice you enter. Before you order material or start building, check the amounts with your supplier and any building codes or permits that apply where you live.

No warranty

This site comes with no warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows it, I’m not liable for any order, cost or damage that comes from relying on a result from this site.

Linking and sharing

You’re welcome to link to this site and to share a calculator’s result link, the one the Share or Copy button gives you. Please don’t copy whole pages elsewhere.

Any link to another site is for reference. I don’t control those sites and can’t vouch for what’s on them.

One person, not a company

This site is built and run by one person, not a business entity. These terms are between you and me, and they apply the same way to every visitor: there’s no separate agreement for commercial use, resale, or building your own tool on top of this one, so please ask first through the Contact page if you want to do any of that.
